This 17-meter full carbon yacht is meant to stand out from the crowd, but in a discrete fashion. The open-plan salon offers a 360-degree view, immersing guests in the endless horizon.

Also designed and styled by Guido de Groot in close cooperation with the clients, the interior will reflect the family vibe onboard Project Samba. The galley will be regularly used by the owners with air extractors imbedded in the ceiling to stop culinary aromas spreading.

Having previously enjoyed many years on the 25m Jangada and 32m World Superyacht nominee Jangada, the owner of these iconic Van der Valks has gone for even more customisation on his third build. Designed by Guido de Groot, the third Jangada will provide extra space, comfort and quiet, and be breathtakingly bespoke for a 36m superyacht.

Currently in build for experienced hands-on owners, everything from the waterline up on the all-aluminium tri-deck superyacht “Samba” has been custom-designed by Guido de Groot. A rich focus on outdoor leisure spaces, including a large swimming platform, is incorporated within an elegant explorer-like look. Safety is at a premium in this multi-generation family yacht with high bulwarks on the side decks, and smart colour separations instead of open railings. The rhythmic lines, complex surfaces and sculptural elements will be as relaxing to the eye as the lifestyle onboard.
