Breedendam Yachts has begun the construction of a new wheelhouse version of its convertible MTB fourzero design, which was brought to market last year.
Following a similar philosophy to the convertible, the new wheelhouse model is a retro-classic styled yacht, yet she is built with the latest technologies. The comfortable wheelhouse is bright and spacious. The electric sliding roof and the sliding window between the salon and cockpit enhance the alfresco ambience. Her combination of sturdiness, sportiness and elegance gives the MTB fourzero an individual feel that is genuinely unique.
As the MTB fourzero is built entirely in aluminium, she has a very stiff but light structure; the complete vessel weighing in at just 12.6 tonnes. This latest Breedendam measures 13.37 metres overall and has a beam of 4.00 metres. The two Volvo IPS600 engines, each delivering 435 hp, ensure excellent performance and a maximum speed of 34 knots.
The spacious interior is fully finished in teak, and features exceptional headroom for a yacht of this category, which stands at two metres. The galley offers the comforts of a luxury yacht, including a fridge, induction hob, combination microwave and dishwasher. Opposite the galley is a dinette with an L-shaped settee upholstered in sumptuous leather. The forward cabin contains a large detached double bed with an anatomically optimised mattress for sleeping comfort. The toilet and shower are in separate spaces which add to the convenience.
